No, you go first!

November 21, 2015

it's going to be just one of those Saturdays, things come to mind like this picture above done by a great former student of mine in 3D, though missing a steering column but none-the-less, Jake Johannsen did a pretty cool  3D video on these characters, who as coming up to a stop sign, one tells other to go, no you just go, and it just keeps looping around and around all the characters at the four way stop..   until frustration sets in along with disbelief!!   kind of reminds me of life itself and of sometimes the way I go about trying to put my show together....     no, you go first...

and, as i always say --- anyways, you can I have your way but it's okay to give way, on radio and in the course of life..     i realize i aint no behinf the air-wave pulpit personality...   naw, just me presenting some tunes that I somehow threw together to remind me of today and the age we live in, but then i get the turkey and mom an family and food playlist going for the second hour..    it is where i'm getting ready for Thanksgiving by talking about home, people, pies and those kinds of things that mean a lot to so many of us, as i grab i grab a few few turkeys and pumpkins to the mix..    so it's just gonna be one of those Saturdays that come to mind where i want to say --- no, you go first...  because the listener which is so important, may truly listen and dig it...

so thanks in advance for just reading this and giving the juke joint a listen now and then...   and may you have a grand thankx-given..     hang in there folks and later Gators Jimbo

public radio supporters & pledgers to kunr - thankx!

When i started in 1989 as a volunteer host for Folk, Bluegrass and Beyond, I really had no idea what a difference you all make....

Your support for KUNR & KNCC and the music that we bring is so important and extemely remarkable.....

It's as if we are one big family that can make an outstanding contribution to the community at large, and as so many of you surely have done it with your pledges of support when you can.

It is, and always will be,  most greatly appreciated.
