Bring on the New Year!! www.kunr.org the juke joint on public radio 3-5pm pst

December 31, 2016

with songs 'bout New Years Eve (Adam Carroll & Michael O'Connor), New Year's Waltz (The Littlest Dobro - Ivan Rosenberg), New Years Day (Mary Chapin Carpenter) and how to be A Better Man This Year (Jeff Kossack & the Other Hand) and  s We Count (On New Years Eve by Loretta Hagen) we kick off the end of the year with delight, apprehension, shock and awe, and really so much more....   it's a new year coming upon us, holding back on things left undone and no regrets.... moving on and related bull.....  you just got-ta keep the pedal to the metal and drive brothers and sisters while taking pride in all accomplished and what can be done, as we say, down the road.....    a new year, a new time for caring, sharing and participating in the things that matter....   whatever they are to you...  spread the joy, share the love, smile again and again, and pass it on in everything you do...  and, i will try, most definitely to do all of you listeners better this year....   so perk those ears up, stay tuned, and remain safe and warm and happy and comfortable and all else this new year.....  the juke joint will be there for you in spirit, in con-tee-plations and more...   so keep a listen now and then and we will look forward to music making this a much better place....  lator-gators and happy new year!!!

public radio supporters & pledgers to kunr - thankx!

When i started in 1989 as a volunteer host for Folk, Bluegrass and Beyond, I really had no idea what a difference you all make....

Your support for KUNR & KNCC and the music that we bring is so important and extemely remarkable.....

It's as if we are one big family that can make an outstanding contribution to the community at large, and as so many of you surely have done it with your pledges of support when you can.

It is, and always will be,  most greatly appreciated.
