In honor of Veterans, and Veteran's Day -- here are presidents who served.....
So, as I stayed awake way to late last night putting the Juke Joint Show together, my thoughts went to next week and the important events about to happen, ie:, if you haven't heard enough already -- the election and also Veterans Day...... So I applied these events in an American theme to include presidents, our country and in honor of vets..... From Mr. President to this land is your land, the times they are changing and runaway train to Veteran's Day (sung by Tom Russell and Johnny Cash), i tried to take a food for thought kind of approach to song selection and even included a few vote and poli-tick-all songs. It was labor-ous and inspiring to me in the low studio light, listening and selecting....
